ReplyDeleteHi all. I'm commenting here in the off chance someone checks this. I searched the internet for months and found this EXACT same style dress for my wedding in great condition. It's the original early 50's Priscilla of Boston, identical to hers. (She had it altered, so the original has long sleeves and a slightly higher neckline, which I was planning to have altered also, just like this). The sad news for me: It doesn't fit! It's a size 8-10 and fits in the body (could be easily altered smaller, also) but sadly it doesn't fit in the shoulders, which aren't going to change. :(
ReplyDeleteThe good news for you ladies who might have been looking for it: I have to sell it (so that I can buy a new dress). I paid $1000 for it, and would sell for $800. Hate to take that loss in my wedding budget, but I'd like to see this super-special dress find a new home. It really is gorgeous. Anyhow, if you're interested email me at amanda@tweecards.com and we can chat more. Thanks!
This is the most amazing dress I have seen in a while. If I ever get married, I need a vintage dress just like that!!
