have you been over to style me pretty lately? you must check out the shabby chic wedding shoot abby posted today, it's just fantastic. i can't take anymore wedding inspiration!! the wedding is a month away (as of today!) and there should be nothing else inspiring this wedding, we should be done be inspired.

but i can't help it. i keep peeking, and falling in love with so many gorgeous details. like these save the date handkerchiefs. oh how i had wanted to do these for our invitations for so long. i still have 70 handkerchiefs that are sitting in my craft box. i just couldn't get all parties involved on board, if you know what i mean : )

the wedding video

who could forget ginny & ed's wedding? well their photographer, josh goleman just posted the wedding video he shot of them as well. and wow is it gorgeous. and the song "bella" by angus & julia stone is SUCH a great one! i never really thought of it until now, but it would make a beautiful first dance song.

a stunner.

remember this amazing proposal? well, they got married. and i just copied all their photos to show to my photographer this weekend, you know, basically, "i want that" (i know, i'm not supposed to do that!)

photos via hear black, nathan's facebook (yes, i totally stalked it!)

and with that, im off to Buffalo for the weekend, for my second shower & the final vendor meetings until the wedding. have a wonderful weekend!

i'm loving emersonmade. she hand dyes all of her linens and then cuts and builds each flower to create some really amazing statements. i was all about flower brooches a few years back when carrie bradshaw made them popular. and i'm glad to see they're peeking out again.

i think they would make a great fashionable bridesmaid gift. i kind of want one for myself!

you can check them out on her blog or buy directly off of her website.

i love this one too - would make such a fun, kitschy boutonniere.

i love this idea for a guest book - how creative! (might be another idea that i "borrow" for my own) the rest of this wedding is to die for (this couple has a crazy gorgeous sense of style), check it out on jonas peterson's blog and on rock and roll bride.

hello tenfold!

if you don't already know about ellie and her fantastic blog mint... well you should! her wedding was amazing, every detail was done to perfection. and her paper products, all of which she created herself, were the talk of the blogosphere!

well, lucky for us, she's opened an esty shop, hello tenfold. go check it out and tell your newly engaged friends. i'm loving the mix of vintage patterns!

we're at six weeks and counting so this weekend i'll be busy preparing for my trip on thursday for my last bridal shower... and a 10-hour day of wedding related meetings. have a great weekend - here are some things i was loving this week.

i guess i'm it!

image via mary swenson of its pretty good

i've been tagged by two lovely ladies, Teresa of Diagnosis Deferred and Dawn of The Alternative Bride to list some of my favorite little things. easy peasy. : )

(note: my fiance is obviously my #1 favorite, it's just a given, so i'm listing 6 more)

1. a fluffy down comforter & squishy pillows during an afternoon nap after being outside
there is nothing better! you're sunned and sleepy from running around outside in the sunshine all day and a mid-afternoon nap on a cool comforter with the sun streaming in is a seriously luxury for me! and i love it!

2. compliments - giving and receiving; this can be tough in nyc!

3. working out
i can feel eyes rolling as i write this! but i do. i like working out. i feel so good afterwards and it's the ultimate confidence booster.

4. the bethesda fountain & terrace, central park
one of my most favorite places in nyc, there are so many great spots to hang out, read, people watch or take in the scenery.

5. family/friends
my sister is the only family i have in nyc, my brother and parents are back in my hometown, so i rely a lot on my friendships to be my support system. so yes, i can clump them together ; )

6. details
i love details, they make me happy. i think it's the details that make things special - even if no one remembers.

so if you're reading this, tag, you're it!

handmade hearts

i'm a sucker for a muted color palette and a touch of vintage. so when i came across cotton bird designs i just fell in love with her fabric & paper bird cake toppers and vintage fabric hearts (which would make a lovely ring pillow)
